Racketeers Pioneers Dominate, Squash Squad Overcome Sharks in B League Action

The latest round of B League squash on 18th September 2025 delivered commanding performances and tightly contested battles, as teams continue to jostle for top positions.

Racketeers Pioneers vs. Outcasts
Racketeers Pioneers were in irresistible form at home, securing a decisive victory over the Outcasts. Ben Leith set the tone with a polished 3–0 win over Mark Henson, followed by Fraser Dorling, who maintained the momentum with a 3–0 triumph against Peter Ginty. Emma Leith and Isaac Quayle continued the dominant display, both securing straight-game wins, leaving the Outcasts struggling to respond. Outcasts’ David Johnson was the only player to take the match, defeating Jonathan Gower-Jackson 3–0, but it was too little to turn the tide, with the Pioneers comfortably taking the overall tie.

Sharks vs. Squash Squad
In a more tightly contested fixture, Squash Squad edged past Sharks in an enthralling contest. Alan Macnair gave Sharks the early lead, but George Rumney responded for the visitors with a 3–1 victory. David O’Neill fought back for Sharks in a five-set thriller against Allister Crossley, eventually securing a 3–2 win. However, Aleyn Taggart and Philip Armstrong turned the momentum in Squash Squad’s favour, winning their matches 3–1 and 3–1 respectively, while Clare Townsend clinched the final match 3–1 over Greg Ansara to seal the team win.
