Week 3 – Drama, Whitewashes & Five-Game Firefights

Week 3 delivered everything — marathon matches, ruthless straight-game wins, and two dominant team performances that could shape the early title race.

⚔️ Racket Raiders vs Falcons – A Battle to the Wire

This tie had fight written all over it.

1️⃣ Clare Townsend edged Lewi Long in a gripping five-game opener, sealing it 11–9 in the decider after trading momentum all match.

2️⃣ Phil Whittam followed with another five-game thriller, turning the tide against Sarah Simpson and powering through the fifth 11–5.

3️⃣ Aaron Rumney made it three for Raiders with a composed four-game win over Elliot Henson.

Falcons struck back strongly in the lower order:

4️⃣ Vusimbe Zivave was clinical, beating Wayne Taylor in straight games.

5️⃣ Jon Cox dominated emphatically, conceding just nine points in a commanding 3–0 win over Mathew McKee.

🐉 Dragons vs Hansard Racketeers 

Hansard delivered one of the most complete team performances of the season so far.

Stephen Pitts set the tone with a four-game win over Beth Jones.

David Johnson was relentless in a straight-games victory against Stuart Highy.

Charlie Beard controlled the middle order with another 3–0 win over Scott Jones.

Jasneet Singh kept momentum flowing with a solid four-game performance.

Steven Wright wrapped up the sweep beating new to team squashJamie Kean winning 3-1.

💈 Island Exhaust & Autocare vs Crazy Jacks Barbershop 

Crazy Jacks continued their strong run with another dominant display.

Jonathan Gower-Jackson opened confidently with a straight-games win over Mark Grace.

Aleyn Taggart was ruthless, especially in a crushing 11–2 second game against Mark Stratford.

Lee Alexander maintained control in another 3–0 strongly contested match against Les Callow.

Matt Ripley powered through in straight games-against Phil Shaw.

The final match brought drama — Darren Smith survived a five-game battle against Ryan Boshoff, closing strongly in the decider 11–2.
