Whisperers' perfect run ends
For five weeks the Tin Whisperers looked untouchable. In week 5 they swept the Jaguars 3-0, with Ben Peach coming from two games down against Toby Woolard and running away with the decider 11-3. Then Team Aon came calling. Thomas Whiteway kept his own run going with a 3-1 win over Jason Crease, but Mason McLarney beat Damien Loughrey 3-0 and Nathan Quilliam sealed a 2-1 Aon win with a 3-1 victory over Alan Macnair. A seven-point lead is now a single point.

Week 5: Team Aon beat Argosy 2-1 despite Malcolm Levy's 3-1 win over Jason Crease. The Tenacious Titans swept the Buccaneers 3-0, with Dafydd Lewis dropping just 11 points against Jonathan Gower-Jackson. Phil Shaw Vehicles beat Atla Storm 3-0, though Storm took two of the matches to a fifth game.
Week 6: Argosy beat the Jaguars 2-1, with David Norman's 3-0 win over Shaun Wyllie and a walkover giving them the points, while Lance Wyllie replied with a 3-0 win over Magnus Lamprecht. Phil Shaw Vehicles beat the Titans 2-1 after Hamish Thornton and Mark Webster-Smith won the first two. The Buccaneers beat Atla Storm 2-1. Ashley Sandyford-Sykes gave Storm hope with a 3-1 win over Patrick Fitzpatrick, but Oliver Wait and Jonathan Gower-Jackson both won in straight games. Storm are still waiting for a first win after six rounds.
