B League - Round 10 (27th November 2025)

Racketeers Pioneers win half season B League

A week of five-game thrillers, statement wins, and a title race blown wide open.

 πŸ”₯ Mavericks vs Racketeers Pioneers

Mavericks 2 – Pioneers 3
A blockbuster tie from top to bottom, featuring two five-gamers and several momentum swings

1️⃣ Liam Townsend vs Ben Leith – Mavericks win 3–2

7-15, 15-6, 15-9, 9-15, 15-13

Match of the night.
Ben struck first with a ruthless opening game, but Liam came storming back with pace, accuracy, and relentless pressure. They traded blows all the way to the decider, where Liam edged it 15-13 after saving a match ball at 12–13.
A huge win for the Mavericks’ No.1.

πŸ”₯ Player of the Night Candidate

2️⃣ Robert Smith vs Fraser Dorling – Mavericks win 3–1

15-11, 8-15, 15-9, 15-11

Robert produced one of his best performances of the season β€” controlled, clinical, and clever.
Fraser struck back in the second, but Robert’s line hitting and aggressive mid-court volleying proved too much as he closed it in four.

3️⃣ Brendon Pitcher vs Isaac Quayle – Pioneers win 3–0

13-15, 9-15, 8-15

Isaac was ice-cold.
Brendon pushed hard in the opener, but Isaac’s consistency and movement turned the match into a masterclass. The Pioneers needed a momentum swing, and Isaac delivered exactly that.

4️⃣ Dave Hedley vs Stephen Pitts – Pioneers win 3–0

14-16, 8-15, 13-15

The scoreline flatters to deceive β€” Dave played some of the best squash he has produced this season.
But Stephen was simply too sharp in the big moments, taking the opener 16–14 and backing it up with smart, composed squash throughout. Another critical point for the title-chasing Pioneers.

5️⃣ Harrison Callow vs David Johnson – Mavericks win 3–0

15-12, 15-12, 15-8

Harrison delivered a powerhouse performance, dominating the T and firing winners at will.
David dug deep but could not withstand the tempo. Harrison sealed the tie 3–2 overall for the Mavericks.

Final Score: Mavericks 3 – Racketeers Pioneers 2

The Outcasts delivered a ruthless, clinical performance to take maximum points and strengthen their position near the top.

1️⃣ George Rumney vs Phil Butler – Outcasts win 3–2

15-13, 8-15, 6-15, 17-15, 14-16

What. A. Match.
An absolute epic β€” arguably the most dramatic match of the entire B League season so far.

George saved match balls in the fourth to force a decider, Phil saved match balls back in the fifth, and after a breathless exchange at 14–14, Phil finally closed it out.
A gladiator battle that had both players cheered off the court.

2️⃣ Aleyn Taggart vs Jonathan Gower-Jackson – Outcasts win 3–1

12-15, 15-9, 10-15, 9-15

Aleyn came out firing, evened the tie, and pushed hard in the third, but Jonathan’s length hitting and patience paid off.
A strong four-game win for the Outcasts No.2.

3️⃣ Clare Townsend vs Mark Henson – Outcasts win 3–0

10-15, 4-15, 7-15

Mark was in command from start to finish. Solid lines, quick attacks, no lapses β€” a textbook performance.

4️⃣ Ewan Cannan vs Elliot Henson – Outcasts win 3–0

4-15, 9-15, 9-15

Ewan fought hard and improved steadily throughout the match, but Elliot was too strong in every area β€” discipline, control, shot selection.

5️⃣ No Home Player vs Stuart Highy – Outcasts win 3–0 (Walkover)

0-15, 0-15, 0-15
