B League – Round 6 (6th November 2025)

The B League continued its strong run of form this week, producing a mix of tight five-set thrillers and commanding wins. The Racketeers Pioneers maintained their place at the top with a hard-fought victory over Outcasts, while Sharks edged out Squash Squad in a spirited away performance.

Outcasts vs. Racketeers Pioneers

Result: Outcasts 3 – 2 Racketeers Pioneers

In one of the most evenly contested fixtures of the season, Outcasts edged past the league leaders in a dramatic 3–2 team win that went the full distance.

Fraser Dorling opened the scoring for the Pioneers with a composed 3–1 win over Nathan Quilliam, showing his trademark control in the rallies.
Isaac Quayle extended the visitors’ lead with another assured 3–1 victory over Mark Henson, maintaining his strong personal form.
The momentum shifted midway through the tie as Jonathan Gower-Jackson battled through a five-setter to defeat Stephen Pitts, keeping the home side alive.
Peter Ginty followed suit, taking a high-quality encounter against James Leith in another five-set contest, levelling the match at 2–2.
In the decider, Stuart Highy completed the comeback for Outcasts, recovering from two games down to beat David Johnson 3–2, sealing an impressive win for the home team.

Despite the loss, the Pioneers remain top overall, while the Outcasts strengthen their hold on third with another valuable result. 

Squash Squad vs. Sharks

Result: Sharks 3 – 2 Squash Squad

The Sharks picked up a vital away win, holding off a determined challenge from Squash Squad in a match that showcased plenty of competitive squash. 

David Freer opened the evening with a five-game battle, coming from behind to edge George Rumney 3–2 in a tense encounter.
Magnus Lamprecht levelled the tie for the hosts with a dominant 3–0 performance over Mike Hayler, showcasing his accuracy and experience.
David O’Neill restored the Sharks’ lead with a confident 3–0 victory against Aleyn Taggart, before mark stratford made it 3–1 after a strong 3–1 win over Beth Jones.
Clare Townsend added some consolation points for Squash Squad, closing the evening with a 3–1 win against Greg Ansara after a close, competitive match.

The Sharks’ win lifts them further clear of the bottom end of the table, while Squash Squad continue to show improvement with several close individual performances.
