Stuart Highy maintained the momentum with a commanding 3-0 win against Ewan Cannan (15-7, 15-13, 15-2).
Andy McLarney added another 3-0 win over Allan Mertin with consistent shot-making and sharp rallies (15-13, 18-16, 15-7).
Scott Jones delivered a dramatic 3-1 victory against Wayne Taylor, with a nail-biting third game, 17-15, that swung the match in Dragons’ favor.
Ben Arthur closed the night emphatically, defeating Matthew McKee 3-0 (15-4, 15-10, 15-7).

Overall, Dragons secured a dominant win, demonstrating depth and precision across all five matches.

Hansard Racketeers vs. Junior Academy

Hansard Racketeers hosted a young and enthusiastic Junior Academy team, and experience clearly made the difference.

Mark Harrop started strong with a 3-0 win over Thomas McAlear (15-12, 15-12, 15-6).
David Johnson followed with another 3-0 triumph against Cristina Cruz (15-8, 15-8, 15-12).
Charlie Beard continued the sweep with a 3-0 win over Ryan Visser (15-4, 15-7, 15-6).
Steven Wright faced tough resistance from Ryan Boshoff, the 15-year-old junior making his senior league debut. The match went to four games, with Wright taking it 3-1 (12-15, 15-9, 15-10, 15-3), highlighting Boshoff’s promising talent despite the loss.
Andy Dalrymple wrapped up the evening with a 3-0 win over Jiayue Kang (15-7, 15-8, 15-9).

Hansard Racketeers showcased their class and experience, comfortably defeating the Junior Academy team.

Island Exhaust and Autocare vs. Falcons

Island Exhaust and Autocare took on the league leaders, Falcons, in a high-stakes match.

Mark Stratford started brightly but fell 1-3 to Dave Hedley (15-11, 8-15, 7-15, 11-15), giving Falcons an early lead.
Peter Sharples fought hard against Greg Ansara but lost 1-3 (7-15, 15-17, 18-16, 9-15), with the third game showing Island Exhaust’s resilience.
Leslie Callow battled Elliot Henson, also losing 1-3 (12-15, 15-7, 5-15, 11-15) in a back-and-forth encounter.
Philip Shaw struggled against Sarah Simpson, dropping a 0-3 match (9-15, 7-15, 10-15).
Arjan Shanker fought valiantly but succumbed 1-3 to Lewi L (15-13, 4-15, 7-15, 3-15).

Despite Island Exhaust showing flashes of brilliance, particularly in individual games, Falcons’ consistency and experience earned them a clean sweep of the team points.
