Crazy Jack’s Barbershop Super Cup – Week 1 Report (3rd February 2026)

The Crazy Jack’s Barbershop Super Cup burst into life this week, launching a brand-new competition designed specifically for C League and junior players — and it delivered exactly what it promised: opportunity, energy, and brilliant competition.

Each team is allowed to field up to two junior players, with valuable bonus points on offer for selecting juniors, and even more incentive when those juniors are female players. The format has already proven to be a huge success, encouraging team captains to back youth, reward development, and create truly inclusive line-ups.

Week 1 saw juniors stepping confidently onto court alongside experienced C League players, producing matches full of heart, effort, and fearless attacking squash. There were moments where juniors swung momentum, secured crucial points, and showed that age is no barrier when skill and determination take over. The bonus-point system added an extra layer of strategy, with team selections becoming just as important as results on court.

The atmosphere across the club was outstanding — supportive, competitive, and full of encouragement — as juniors gained invaluable match experience while seasoned players embraced their role as mentors and teammates.

With points already on the board and confidence growing, the Super Cup is shaping up to be far more than just another competition. It’s a platform for development, participation, and progression — and if Week 1 is anything to go by, the weeks ahead promise even more drama, breakthroughs, and memorable performances.
