Super Cup - Week 3 (26th January 2026)

Week 3 of the Super Cup was a rollercoaster, with nail-biting finishes, upsets, and standout performances from both seasoned campaigners and rising stars. Every match counted, and every player had a part to play.

Outcasts vs. Cannell Print

Mark Webster-Smith opened the tie against Ben Peach, putting up a strong fight but ultimately succumbing 0-3 (12-14, 5-11, 9-11).

Harvey Douglas bounced back for Outcasts, defeating Damien Loughrey 3-0 (11-9, 11-8, 11-8), keeping the tie alive.

Jonathan Gower-Jackson faced Liam Townsend in a tense battle. Jonathan claimed the third game 12-10 but went down 1-3 overall (5-11, 7-11, 12-10, 2-11).

Mark Henson took on Dasa Brynjolffssen and triumphed 3-0 (11-3, 11-7, 11-6).

CES Sharks vs. Pats Pals

Mike Hayler faced Ben Leith and was defeated 0-3 (5-11, 5-11, 5-11).

David O’Neill came up against Oliver Wait and fell 0-3 (4-11, 8-11, 5-11).

Mark Stratford fought Emma Leith in a spectacular encounter, winning 3-2 (12-10, 5-11, 8-11, 11-1, 11-8).

Greg Ansara took on Harrison Callow, finishing 1-3 (11-5, 8-11, 6-11, 7-11).

Result: CES Sharks 2 – 3 Pats Pals

Highlight: Mark Stratford’s gritty 3-2 win was a standout performance, keeping Sharks competitive until the last point.
