C League – Season First Half Finale
The C League has been nothing short of electrifying this season, and it all comes down to one decisive match. Crazy Jacks Barbershop have completed their fixtures in dominant fashion, amassing an impressive 196 points, and sit at the top of the table. Their consistency and firepower across the board—from Max Birchall to Darren Smith—has made them a formidable force.
The battle for second place and the top spot now rests on a showdown between Island Exhaust and Autocare (148 pts) and Falcons (162 pts). Whoever claims victory in this clash will finish ahead of all teams except Crazy Jacks, potentially claiming bragging rights as the strongest challengers in the league.
Island Exhaust have been resilient all season, with key performances from Mark Grace, Peter Sharples, Leslie Callow, Philip Shaw, and Phil Whittam. Their teamwork and determination have kept them in contention, despite injuries such as Ewan Cannan’s ankle roll, which forced a retirement in a crucial fixture.
Falcons, meanwhile, have surged in the second half of the season, showing remarkable form with players like Dave Hedley, Greg Ansara, Lewi Long, and Elliot Henson delivering dominant wins. They know that a victory here will not only cement their position near the top but could also deliver the psychological edge heading into the next half of the season.
